O 1° Fórum Comunitário do Selo Unicef acontecerá em Juazeiro (BA) nesta quinta-feira (26), das 8h às 13h30, no auditório da Universidade do Estado da Bahia (Uneb). O evento é organizado pela prefeitura municipal, através da Comissão Pro Selo Unicef 2017-2020, formada pelas Secretarias de Cultura,Turismo e Esportes, de Educação e Juventude, de Desenvolvimento Social, Igualdade e Mulher e da Saúde.

O Selo tem o objetivo de contribuir com a redução das desigualdades e a garantia dos direitos das crianças e adolescentes do semiárido e da Amazônia. “A gente busca fortalecer a gestão municipal e qualificar as políticas públicas direcionadas à infância e à adolescência no município, garantindo a mobilização social. A realização do fórum é obrigatória para a continuidade de nosso município no programa”, explica a presidente do Conselho Municipal dos Direitos da Criança e do Adolescente, Fátima Carvalho.

De acordo com o assessor técnico municipal de Cultura, João Leopoldo, o fórum objetiva analisar as condições de vida, planejar ações para garantia dos direitos, monitorar e avaliar de forma participativa os resultados de ações e políticas públicas votadas a esse público.
