A advogada e candidata ao Senado Adriana Rocha (Rede), durante sabatina ao programa Folha Política, da Rádio Folha FM (96,7), nesta quinta (30), traçou um perfil do eleitorado brasileiro e destacou a necessidade de mais participação das mulheres na política e nos espaços de poder.
Partindo de sua experiência como professora de direito constitucional, Adriana falou sobre a falta de representatividade e interesse dos eleitores. “Em sala de aula o que a gente sempre percebe é uma leitura de desânimo em relação à política. Sou eleitora antes de ser candidata e o quadro político atual demonstra que há nesse desânimo um quantitativo de votos brancos e nulos que tem dado um resultado que coloca em xeque essa representatividade legislativa”, afirmou.
“A gente não precisa só de candidatas, a gente precisa garantir o espaço real das mulheres na política. A população brasileira precisa entender que quando fazemos propostas como essa não é nenhum privilégio. Estamos regatando algo que historicamente não conseguimos superar. A mulher já foi considerada incapaz pelo direito e conseguiu o direito de votar depois do homem. Isso trás consequências reais para o cenário político”, disse Adriana.
