A Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária (Anvisa) determinou a suspensão em todo o território nacional da distribuição, da comercialização e do uso do anticoncepcional Gynera, produzido pela Bayer.
Segundo a Anvisa, o anticoncepcional apresentou resultados insatisfatórios em um estudo de estabilidade e foi apontado como classe 3 – “alto risco” – na classificação de risco à saúde.
A resolução publicada no Diário Oficial da União (DOU) desta segunda-feira, 26, vale para 13 lotes do produto e estabelece que a Bayer recolha imediatamente todo o estoque existente no mercado.
O Gynera é um comprimido de uso oral composto pelos hormônios estrogênio (etinilestradiol) e progestógeno (gestodeno).
Ainda conforme a Anvisa, a Bayer promoveu o recolhimento voluntário do produto após os resultados do estudo. Procurada, a empresa ainda não se manifestou sobre a resolução da Anvisa.
