O anúncio veio após o deputado ser alvo de críticas por causa de 1 vídeo publicado pelo ator Alexandre Frota, no qual diz em tom humorístico que gostaria de ver o artista como ministro da Cultura.
“Nós vamos extinguir o Ministério da Cultura e teremos apenas uma secretaria para tratar do assunto. Hoje em dia, o Ministério da Cultura é apenas centro de negociações da Lei Rouanet”, disse.
Para Bolsonaro, o Ministério da Cultura deve evitar que o dinheiro público vá para“artistas figurões”. “Temos que atender o artista em início de carreira, que pode, com toda a certeza, ter futuro”, disse ele, sem dar mais detalhes da atuação da secretaria em outras áreas.
