O juiz da Vara de Execuções Penais do Distrito Federal Bruno Macacari pode decidir nesta terça-feira, 26, se o deputado Paulo Maluf (PP-SP) vai permanecer no Complexo Penitenciário da Papuda, em Brasília, ou se ficará em prisão domiciliar. Na sexta-feira, o magistrado negou liminarmente pedido da defesa para que o ex-prefeito de São Paulo (1993-1996) fosse transferido para regime domiciliar, mas impôs para hoje o prazo de entrega de laudos sobre seu estado de saúde.
“Ressalto a possibilidade de revisão da decisão, mormente após a juntada do laudo de perícia médica a ser elaborado pelo Instituto Médico-Legal (IML), e, principalmente, das informações a serem prestadas pela equipe médica com atuação no CDP (Centro de Detenção Provisória da Papuda)”, disse Macacari.
A defesa de Maluf pediu à Justiça para que o deputado cumprisse pena em regime domiciliar sob alegação de idade avançada do ex-prefeito – 86 anos – e problemas de saúde. Maluf está condenado a cumprir pena de 7 anos, 9 meses e 10 dias por crime de lavagem de dinheiro.
O deputado foi preso na quarta-feira passada, em São Paulo, após determinação do ministro Edson Fachin, do Supremo Tribunal Federal. Na sexta-feira, foi transferido para a Papuda.
