A comercialização do analgésico Buscopan Composto gotas foi suspensa pela farmacêutica Boehringer Ingelheim do Brasil.
O medicamento, composto pelas substâncias butilbrometo de escopolamina e dipirona sódica monoidratada, é indicado para tratar sintomas de cólicas menstruais, intestinais, estomacais, urinárias, entre outros.
Em maio, o fabricante informou a Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária (Anvisa) sobre a suspensão temporária da fabricação do medicamento. Em junho,a farmacêutica começou a recolher o produto.
Em nota, a empresa informa que o remédio foi retirado de mercado “de forma voluntária e preventiva” após “resultado fora de especificação identificado durante estudos de estabilidade, que fazem parte do monitoramento dos produtos farmacêuticos no mercado”.
Não há previsão para a volta da comercialização do produto, que também foi descontinuado na Venezuela, Chile, Argentina, Uruguai e Paraguai.
A Boehringer Ingelheim do Brasil informa que os demais “produtos da família Buscopan, como Buscopan Composto comprimidos e Buscopan gotas continuam disponíveis”.
