O vereador reeleito Ronilson Marcílio Alves tomou posse do cargo nesta terça-feira (3), na Câmara Municipal de Caratinga, no Vale do Rio Doce, em Minas Gerais de uma forma inusitada. Ele estava algemado, sob escolta policial e vestindo uniforme do sistema prisional.
Isso porque o vereador reeleito está detido no presídio da cidade desde o dia 19 de dezembro. Ele é acusado de extorquir um padre.Ronilson só não tomou posse junto com os demais vereadores eleitos, no último domingo (1º) porque temia protestos populares.
Antes de se dirigir à Câmara Municipal, Ronilson foi diplomado por procuração pelo Tribunal Regional Eleitoral de Minas Gerais (TRE/ MG) para que pudesse realizar o procedimento.
De acordo com o advogado Dário Junior , existe um dispositivo no artigo 9º do Regimento Interno da Câmara que o vereador que não comparecer à cerimônia de posse tem até 10 dias para tomar posse na presença do presidente da Câmara. ” Nós fizemos uso dessa prerrogativa, porque meu cliente considerou que tomar posse no dia 1º, em que a Casa estaria cheia, seria ruim e ser visto como escândalo, por isso marcamos para hoje”, explicou o advogado.
Dário Junior ainda esclareceu que a posse poderia ter sido feita no gabinete do presidente, mas este optou por fazer no plenário para dar mais transparência. “Como advogado, eu acredito que poderia ter sido mais tranquilo”, declarou.
