A Polícia Federal deflagrou na manhã desta quinta-feira (27) a 42ª fase da Operação Lava Jato, que tem como principal alvo o ex-presidente do Banco do Brasil e Petrobras Aldemir Bendine. Chamada de Operação Cobra, a nova fase apura práticas de corrupção e lavagem de dinheiro.
Segundo a PF, já foram cumpridos 11 mandados de busca e apreensão e três mandados de prisão temporária no Distrito Federal e nos Estados de Pernambuco, Rio de Janeiro e São Paulo.
O ex-presidente das instituições mencionadas e pessoas a ele relacionadas teriam solicitado vantagem indevida em razão dos cargos exercidos para que o Grupo Odebrecht não viesse a ser prejudicado em futuras contratações da Petrobras.
