Uma força-tarefa saiu às ruas de Petrolina nesta quinta-feira (16) com um objetivo em comum: alertar a população sobre a exploração do trabalho infantil na cidade.
A campanha promovida pela prefeitura tem como tema ‘Maior Cuidado Com Nossas Crianças’ e reúne mais de 100 pessoas que estarão atuando nos semáforos da cidade até o próximo dia 24 de novembro para conscientizar a população sobre o trabalho infantil.
Além dos semáforos, as equipes da Secretaria de Desenvolvimento Social e Direitos Humanos também atuarão em pontos estratégicos como a rodoviária, Praça do Bambuzinho e Bodódromo, onde serão montados estandes com assistente social, psicólogo, agentes da Vara da Infância e membros do Conselho Tutelar.
O pontapé inicial da ação foi realizado em frente à prefeitura de Petrolina onde as equipes fizeram distribuição de panfletos, adesivação de carros e abordagens. O primeiro dia da campanha contou com a participação do prefeito, Miguel Coelho, do juiz da Vara da Infância e Juventude, Marcos Bacelar, do promotor Érico de Oliveira e da primeira-dama de Petrolina, Lara Secchi Coelho, que trabalhou ao lado das equipes com o objetivo de conscientizar a sociedade sobre a importância de denunciar esses crimes.
A campanha é resultado de parceria entre a prefeitura, Ministério Público do Trabalho (MPT), Vara da Infância e Juventude, Conselho Tutelar e Conselho Municipal dos Direitos da Criança e do Adolescente (CMDDCA). Uma das finalidades é divulgar os meios através dos quais as pessoas podem fazer denúncias de trabalho infantil. Além do conhecido ‘Dique 100’ as denuncias em Petrolina também podem ser feitas no Conselho Tutelar através do número: (87) 98861-0421.
