O Radialista Geraldo Freire, que há mais de três décadas é líder em audiência no Recife e Região metropolitana, estará em Petrolina para lançar o seu o livro ‘O que eu disse e o que me disseram’. O evento acontece neste sábado (11) no hotel Nobile Suites (antigo Quality) em Petrolina.
Geraldo freire vai autografar a obra que contém em suas páginas, parte importante da sua história, como também ajudará a entender, a trajetória recente da mídia falada através das ondas de Rádio em Pernambucano.
O livro, que tem texto preliminar de apresentação de Xico Sá, traz depoimentos de Ivanildo Vila Nova, Moacir Franco e Jessier Quirino. O livro chega ao Vale do São Francisco, depois de concorridos lançamentos em Recife e Caruaru . Geraldo Freire , contou com a parceria do professor Eugênio Gerônimo, que é sertanejo de Iguaracy e ajudou a escrever o belo livro.
O livro relata com muita irreverência, histórias engraçadas, curiosas e interessantes envolvendo personagens como Miguel Arraes e Dom Helder. A obra levou 10 anos para ser concluída.
Geraldo Freire é cearense de Caririaçu, mas foi pequeno para Mimoso, Distrito de Pesqueira. Saiu de casa aos dez anos para morar com uma tia em Recife. Já contabiliza 40 anos de jornalismo, 25 destes na Rádio Jornal.
