Alvo de críticas, principalmente nos Estados do Nordeste, a privatização da Chesf, dentro do processo de venda da Eletrobras, terá um modelo apresentado em setembro. O anúncio foi feito pelo ministro de Minas e Energia, Fernando Filho, nesta segunda-feira (11), durante visita ao estaleiro Atlântico Sul.
Ele afirmou que a proposta, que será apresentada não só para o presidente Michel Temer, como para toda a bancada do Nordeste e aos governadores, contemplará a revitalização do Rio São Francisco.
“O que está sendo trabalhado é que se tenha, dentro desse processo, que parte dos recursos gerados a partir das usinas do Rio São Francisco, parte desses investimentos, retornem para a revitalização do próprio rio”, afirmou o ministro, acrescentando que nunca se trabalhou no processo de cuidado com o Rio”, disse o ministro.
