O candidato do PSL ao Palácio do Planalto, Jair Bolsonaro, afirmou nesta quarta-feira (17) estar com a “mão na faixa”.
“Nós estamos com a mão na faixa. É verdade, pode até não chegar lá. Nós estamos com a mão na faixa. Ele [Fernando Haddad (PT)] não vai tirar 18 milhões de votos até daqui dois domingos.”
A fala foi feita na saída da visita à Superintendência da Polícia Federal, no Rio de Janeiro.
Durante a manhã, ele também visitou o cardeal dom Orani Tempesta, da Arquidiocese do Rio de Janeiro.
O gesto é uma aproximação aos católicos, já que Bolsonaro conta com grande apoio dos evangélicos.
Ele fez um breve discurso ao lado de dom Orani e defendeu valores da família. “Assinamos um compromisso pela família em defesa da inocência da criança na sala de aula, em defesa da liberdades das religiões. Contra o aborto e contrario à legalização das drogas.”
Ele disse que foi ao local mais para ouvir do que para falar e agradeceu a Deus “por tudo que aconteceu na sua vida”.
Segundo o candidato, o compromisso firmado em papel representa “o que está no coração de todos os brasileiros de bem”.
Sem dar detalhes ao que se referia, afirmou que a população não quer “flertar com o desconhecido ou com aquilo que não deu certo no Brasil e no mundo”.
Ao final, ele se colocou à disposição para ouvir dom Orani. “Se porventura houver algo que eu deva fazer, que você tenha a liberdade para me avisar que aqui eu estarei para ouvi-lo com o coração aberto.”
Bolsonaro foi à Arquidiocese acompanhado do advogado Sergio Bermudes, dono de um dos maiores escritórios do país, de seu filho Flavio Bolsonaro (PSL-RJ), eleito senador, Gustavo Bebianno, presidente do PSL, e do empresário Paulo Marinho, amigo e apoiador da campanha.
Ao chegar, algumas funcionárias da Arquidiocese vestiram camisetas verde e amarelo, cores do candidato, e imitaram armas com as mãos, posando para foto em frente a uma estátua de Jesus Cristo, no saguão de entrada.
Esta semana, o candidato também visitou o Bope (Batalhão de Operações Especiais) da Polícia Militar.
