A Universidade de Pernambuco convocou mais professores do último Concurso Público, realizado em 2016. Desta vez foram 38 professores das áreas de humanas, saúde e exatas que irão atuar nos campi da UPE em Garanhuns, Petrolina, Arcoverde, Serra Talhada, Salgueiro, Mata Norte, Mata Sul, Politécnica, Fcap e Camaragibe. Os cargos são para professores auxiliar, assistente e adjunto.
O reitor da UPE, Prof. Pedro Falcão, deu boas vindas a todos na última terça-feira, e ressaltou a importância da chegada do grupo às unidades, desejando um bom trabalho aos novos servidores da Universidade e lembrando que eles têm a missão de formar recursos humanos e gerar conhecimentos.
Os docentes foram aprovados no concurso público Sad/UPE de 2016, para atuar nos cursos de educação superior, em níveis de graduação e pós-graduação da Universidade.
A posse aconteceu na Reitoria da UPE e contou também com a presença da Pró-Reitora de Desenvolvimento de Pessoas (Prodep), Profª. Vera Gregório, e do Pró-Reitor de Graduação, Prof. Luiz Alberto Ribeiro Rodrigues.
