Eita gente vaidosa esses pastores! Tá bom, a Lei tá sancionada e, agora? Muda o quê? Nada! Eles brigaram pela vaidade de dizer que tem força... Vaidade! Vaidade é inutilidade, falsidade, arrogância.
Uma enorme de quantidade de pastores de Petrolina fizeram força, espernearam e bateram boca com vereadores, somente para ter uma Lei, que agora sancionada, em nada muda a vida dos evangélicos. A vaidade de certos pastores ficou externada e latente para quem acompanhou o caso.
O que na verdade os pastores fizeram foi se amostrar! Queriam holofote e conseguiram. Principalmente aqueles que se dizem representar os evangélicos. Vaidade de vaidades, diz o pregador, vaidade de vaidades! Tudo é vaidade. Eclesiastes 1:2
Atentei para todas as obras que se fazem debaixo do sol, e eis que tudo era vaidade e aflição de espírito.
