O petrolinense é um povo interessante, e gosta de testar seus gestores municipais, em especial, os de primeira viagem.Com a maquiagem, eles aparecem no período eleitoral, falam bonito, abraçam e até comem cuscuz com leite e galinha de capoeira no interior, e tudo isso, com o intuito de passar uma imagem de pessoa simples e conquistar o voto.
Alguns eleitores, depois que simpatizam com o sujeito, passam a defendê-lo (durante e depois da campanha ) com unhas e dentes,e ainda com mais veemência, as ideias do “novo” político, aquele que surgiu com discursos fáceis e decorados, escritos por uma equipe de comunicação, bem paga, ainda que seja ruim.
“Prometo fazer de graça no município alguns benefícios que o outro gestor não fez, já fiz a conta e dá certo”, foi o que foi dito por alguns prepostos a prefeitos em Petrolina, lá em 2016.E o eleitor, antenado aos fatos, grita de lá: “falar é fácil, difícil é fazer”.
2019 chegou e com ele a pré-campanha, mas será que diante das nuances de falta de ações em 2017 e 2018, o eleitor fará vista grossa com aquilo que não saiu do papel, ou ficará hipnotizado com novas fotos, sorrisos fáceis, tapinha no ombro e novas promessas? Será possível fazer a diferença nesses dois anos restantes? Um verdadeiro ponto cego. O que virá? O que será feito?
