Receita Federal alerta para ocorrência do ‘golpe do amor’ (Divulgação/Divulgação)
A Receita Federal divulgou um alerta à população sobre o crescente número de vítimas do chamado “golpe do amor” ou “golpe Don Juan”, em que mulheres são induzidas a fazer depósitos em troca de bens e benefícios supostamente retidos no aeroporto.
A alfândega do órgão em Guarulhos vem recebendo um número crescente de ligações de vítimas do golpe. Os criminosos, de acordo com a Receita, criam perfis falsos nas redes sociais, geralmente se passando por estrangeiros em boas condições financeiras e com empregos prestigiados. Após envolverem emocionalmente a vítima, declaram-se apaixonados e prometem o envio de bens diversos do exterior por via postal ou por meio de um viajante. Posteriormente, pedem que a vítima deposite dinheiro em contas para que possam resgatar bens que supostamente foram retidos pela Receita no aeroporto.
“A Receita Federal em Guarulhos já recebeu relatos de casos em que golpistas fizeram propostas de casamento e anunciaram que mandariam caixas contendo presentes diversos, como óculos, bolsas, celulares, anéis de ouro para o ‘noivado’, documentos pessoais e, em muitos casos, dinheiro em espécie em dólares, libras ou euros. Após o suposto envio dos presentes, a quadrilha exige pagamento da vítima alegando que as mercadorias estariam retidas na alfândega e só seriam liberadas após o pagamento de taxas e outros valores”, advertiu o órgão.
