O delegado Fernando Segóvia assumirá o cargo de diretor-geral da Polícia Federal, substituindo Leandro Daiello. De acordo com informações do jornal O Globo, o presidente Michel Temer terá uma reunião com Segóvia na tarde desta quarta-feira (8).
Daiello (foto), que já havia manifestado intenção de sair do cargo, atuava no comando do PF desde 2011 – primeiro ano da ex-presidente Dilma Rousseff no Palácio do Planalto.
A corporação é subordinada ao Ministério da Justiça. Após emitir declarações de que podia trocar o comando da PF, o ministro Torquato Jardim afirmou, em setembro, que Daiello ficaria por tempo indeterminado.
