O doleiro Lúcio Bolonha Funaro afirmou, em depoimento à Polícia Federal na última quarta-feira (14), que o presidente Michel Temer conhecia esquemas de doações ilícitas feitas ao PMDB durante o período em que presidiu o partido, entre 2001 e 2016. As informações são do jornal O Globo.
Funaro admitiu, ainda, ter operado caixa 2 a peemedebistas. Apontado como aliado do deputado cassado Eduardo Cunha (PMDB-RJ) em esquemas de corrupção, Funaro está preso há 11meses em Brasília.
Réu na Lava Jato, ele contratou um advogado especialista em delação premiada. No entanto, até o momento não há informações de que ele tenha fechado acordo com o Ministério Público Federal (MPF).
A assessoria de Temer nega que o presidente soubesse de financiamento ilegal de campanha para a sigla. “O presidente Michel Temer somente tinha conhecimento de doações legais ao partido”, informa a nota.
