As manobras nos bastidores na Câmara dos Vereadores de Petrolina, foi uma verdadeira lição de jogo estratégico. É que os nobres parlamentares que estavam presentes na Casa Plinio Amorim na última sessão do ano, aprovaram um Projeto muito especial de Autorização da Mesa Diretora que conferiu um belo aumento de salários para o Executivo e cargos comissionados. Então se prepare e engula essa: A partir de 2017, o Prefeito de Petrolina receberá o salário de R$ 18 mil, a Vice – Prefeita, R$ 14 mil, e os Secretários municipais receberão por mês R$ 12 mil.
No entanto, para o presidente da Câmara, o vereador Osório Siqueira (PSB),Isso está absolutamente normal. Segundo ele, o Projeto foi discutido amplamente na última sessão do ano, porque a casa entendeu que os salários estavam defasados e precisavam ser adequados ao novo cena´rio nacional .Em outras palavras, o povo vai de novo pagar essa linda e bela conta. Quanta engenharia.
