A Confusão com cédulas na eleição do Senado, marca mais um capítulo, não apenas para o Brasil, mas para o mundo. Agora, para o petrolinense, essa eleição no senado vai deixar uma marca maior: a da vergonha!
Escrevendo mais um capítulo obscuro na política que é feita por nomes de Petrolina, o senador Fernando Bezerra Coelho, mais uma vez se mete em confusão e é acusado de tentar fraudar a eleição no senado.
Na tarde deste sábado, no andamento da eleição para o senado, as cédulas eleitorais, tinham que ser rubricadas pelo secretário da mesa e pelo presidente que dirigia a sessão. O secretário que assinou as cédulas, era o senador Fernando Bezerra Coelho, o detalhe, é que são apenas 81 senadores, e Fernando Bezerra, rubricou 82 cédulas. Fraude! Isso nos deixa envergonhados como filhos da terra da Capital do Sertão. O senador Otto Alencar do PSD da Bahia, acusou Fernando Bezerra pela fraude.
Sem dúvidas, na cabeça do petrolinense, um filme antigo foi rememorado instantaneamente, e lembrou a conturbada eleição para prefeito em Petrolina, no ano de 1992. Naquele ano, o candidato Henrique Cruz foi dormir prefeito e acordou derrotado, após confusão com a contagem dos votos. Quem acordou prefeito, com menos de 300 votos de diferença, foi Fernando Bezerra Coelho, que naquela ocasião assumiu a prefeitura da cidade pela primeira vez.
E agora? Além de apoiar abertamente Renan Calheiros, mestre dos disfarces, Fernando Bezerra Coelho, deixa os olhos dos petrolinenses marejados, não por alegria ou festa, mas pela vergonha a que foram submetidos. O que dirão os mais críticos sobre os políticos de Petrolina.São todos iguais? Será que os defensores do senador terão palavras para argumentar sobre esse fato?
