A Frente das Oposições já definiu o local para a confirmação da candidatura do senador Armando Monteiro Neto (PTB) ao Governo do Estado. O evento será realizado no dia 4 de agosto, na véspera do prazo final para as convenções partidárias, no Classic Hall, em Olinda.
Em 2014, Armando, que na época integrava a coligação “Pernambuco vai mais longe”, oficializou a sua candidatura ao Governo do Estado em uma casa de shows em Caruaru, no Agreste. Há quatro anos, o petebista teve como candidato a vice o ex-deputado federal Paulo Rubem – ex-PDT e hoje no PSOL -, e como candidato ao Senado o ex-prefeito do Recife João Paulo – ex-PT, hoje PCdoB.
