A casa dos ex-governadores do Rio de Janeiro Anthony e Rosinha Garotinho foi alvo de mandado de busca e apreensão, na manhã desta terça-feira (8), no município de Campos dos Goytacazes (RJ).
O objetivo da ação, denominada Operação Caça-Fantasma e cumprida por agentes do Ministério Público Estadual e da Secretaria de Estado de Segurança, é encontrar possíveis documentos relacionados a um esquema de fraude, comandado pelo empresário Fernando Trabach Gomes.
De acordo com informações de O Globo, a partir de uma empresa “laranja”, Gomes concorria e vencia licitações públicas em municípios fluminenses, a exemplo de Campos, onde a prefeitura, durante a gestão de Rosinha, chegou a firmar contratos no valor de R$ 17,3 milhões para alugar ambulâncias.
Fernando Trabach Gomes e mais dois, cujos nomes não foram revelados, tiveram a prisão preventiva decretada. Ao todo, o MP denunciou 11 supostos integrantes da quadrilha por organização criminosa, lavagem de dinheiro, sonegação fiscal e falsidade ideológica. Garotinho e Rosinha não estão na lista dos réus.
Ao todo, trinta mandados de busca e apreensão foram cumpridos nesta manhã, inclusive na prefeitura de Campos dos Goytacazes. A operação apura ainda contratos assinados com a Assembleia Legislativa do Rio de Janeiro (Alerj) e a Polícia Civil.
