O ator britânico Roger Moore, famoso por interpretar James Bond sete vezes no cinema e por seu papel na série O Santo, morreu nesta terça-feira na Suíça, aos 89 anos, informou sua família. Moore, que vivia na Suíça há muitos anos, morreu após uma curta batalha contra o câncer.
Ao longo de doze anos, Moore protagonizou alguns dos maiores clássicos da franquia de James B0nd, como 007 Viva e Deixe Morrer (1973), que teve música de Paul McCartney (Live and Let Die), 007 contra o Foguete da Morte (1979), 007 contra Octopussy (1983) e 007 – Na Mira dos Assassinos (1985).
Ele também deu vida ao inspetor Jacques Clouseau no filme A Maldição da Pantera Cor-de-Rosa (1983).
