A mídia petrolinense tem donos, e reflete as opiniões dos seus proprietários. Ela costuma publicar só o que é espetacular, sensacional, mesmo que tenha que esconder a verdade. Hoje em Petrolina, fala-se mais da carne de bode distribuída para a população, do que a busca de um projeto político social que valha à pena. Esperávamos mais, mas nos decepcionamos!
Aplaudir certas ações positivas é bom, mas vale lembrar que isso não basta: é necessário restituir programas sociais legítimos que foram tirados do petrolinense. O governo novo tempo anda tão perdido que é preciso criar um fato para poder não sair da mídia. É preciso aparecer.
Um governo que fecha os olhos. A cultura nesta semana sofreu uma grande perda e poucos falaram. Um grupo de teatro que apresenta a Paixão de Cristo há 39 anos na cidade, foi cortado pela prefeitura, que disse não ter recursos para ajudar o grupo. O Guterima foi cortado dos planos do prefeito. Cultura é coisa secundária para o governo Novo tempo. Mas nós entendemos. É melhor levar a grande massa para uma quadra, distribuir carne (que foi mandado pela CONAB) e dizer que é obra da prefeitura e de uma associação, do que de verdade olhar para o povo com olhos de querer fazer uma verdadeira mudança. O governo está perdido e tateando para se achar.
Novo Tempo, um governo que tem pés nas alturas e cabeça no chão. A estrada para 2020, está sendo pavimentada com erros que custarão muito caro.
