Petrolina: por que o CEP é importante? Luta do vereador Ruy Wanderley passa pela inclusão de comunidades
Dessa forma, o código de endereçamento postal foi criado para que correspondências fossem entregues com mais facilidade e para que não houvesse confusão. Assim, em 1971 a Empresa Brasileira de Correios e Telégrafos criou o CEP.
Muitas pessoas ao realizar alguma compra, preencher formulários ou qualquer outra atividade que necessite de identificação se utilizam do código de endereçamento postal, também conhecido como CEP. Assim, o CEP indica a localização da região em que estamos.
Dessa forma, o código de endereçamento postal foi criado para que correspondências fossem entregues com mais facilidade e para que não houvesse confusão. Assim, em 1971 a Empresa Brasileira de Correios e Telégrafos criou o CEP.
O CEP é de fundamental importância por que funciona como um mapa que guia carteiros e funcionários dos correios, principalmente, na entrega de cartas e encomendas. Logo, cada rua possui um número específico, mesmo que o nome seja parecido ou igual.
Em Petrolina, diversas ruas e localidades, ainda não possuem esse código. Foi pensando nessas dificuldades que o vereador Ruy Wanderley fez mais uma solicitação que foi atendida e, agora todas a ruas da vila militar possuem CEP.
Tudo isso só foi possível por que o vereador propôs uma lei de N°3.454 de 22 de outubro de 2021 , que denomina diversas vias pública, com limitações e todos detalhes de residenciais. Desta vez, a Vila Militar, loteamento Joaquim Francisco de Araújo foi alcançado e agora possui o Código de Endereçamento Postal.;

“Conseguimos viabilizar a criação do CEP de cada rua da Vila, viabilizando as entregas de cada morador através dos correios e sites que fazem vendas on-line..Sempre estaremos à disposição dos Petrolinenses, para conseguir melhorar a qualidade de vida de cada comunidade, de cada morador.”, disse Ruy.
