Sem coligações partidárias e candidato a vice-presidente definido, a convenção que oficializou o deputado Jair Bolsonaro (PSL) como postulante à Presidência ocorreu com críticas ao centrão.
Cotada para dividir a chapa com Bolsonaro, a advogada Janaína Paschoal compareceu ao evento, mas disse que as conversas não foram concluídas. Ela se posicionou ao lado do presidenciável no palanque, que foi cercado por outros dois aliados que já haviam sido cotados para vice: o general reformado do Exército Augusto Heleno (PRP) e o senador Magno Malta (PR-ES). Os dois não tiveram apoio de seus partidos para acompanharem o deputado.
Os discursos da convenção tiveram como objetivo afastar a imagem de isolamento político de Bolsonaro. Malta e Heleno reafirmaram apoio ao deputado. E foram ao ataque a ex-presidentes e ao centrão. “Querem reunir todos aqueles que precisam escapar das barras da lei num só núcleo. Daí criou-se o centrão. O centrão é a materialização da impunidade”, afirmou general Heleno.
Bolsonaro tentou se aliar ao PR de Valdemar Costa Neto, condenado no escândalo do mensalão e investigado na Lava Jato. As negociações não avançaram porque o presidenciável não quis firmar acordos regionais considerados importantes para o PR.
Palavra bastante usada na corrida presidencial em 2014, o PSL apostou no mote “mudança de verdade” para lançar Bolsonaro como pré-candidato à Presidência da República.
O partido fez um jingle em ritmo de forró que tem início com o solo do hino brasileiro. “Muda Brasil, Muda Brasil, Muda de verdade. Bolsonaro com amor e com verdade”, diz o refrão.
A letra tem um tom mais ameno do que os discursos geralmente feitos pelo deputado em suas falas, o texto fala em união, esperança e paz.
“Bate forte meu coração para mudar a minha nação. Pela família, pela paz, com esperança e união. Eu quero um novo rumo e eu não tô sozinho. Para um Brasil mais forte só há esse caminho: Bolsonaro!”
O evento é realizado em um centro de convenções com capacidade para 2500 pessoas no centro do Rio de Janeiro.
As cores da bandeira brasileira estampam o salão, que tem no palco uma foto de um Bolsonaro sorridente acompanhada da frase “Muda Brasil de verdade”.
Na plateia, fãs vestem camisetas com o rosto de Bolsonaro estampado e sacodem a bandeira brasileira. Além da família Bolsonaro e de parlamentares do PSL, participam do evento apoiadores públicos do deputado como o ator Alexandre Frota.
O presidenciável chegou ao local no fim da manhã e foi aclamado pela plateia sob gritos de “mito”, enquanto alguns fãs faziam transmissões ao vivo pelas redes sociais.
Frase frequentemente dita por Bolsonaro, a frase “Brasil acima de tudo. Deus acima de todos” é repetida à exaustão assim como críticas à imprensa e a políticos de esquerda.
