Pazuello desvia de perguntas sobre testes que vencem a partir de dezembro
Em nota, o ministério afirma que os exames são entregues conforme demandas de Estados e municípios.
Oministro da Saúde, Eduardo Pazuello, desviou, nesta terça-feira, 24, de perguntas sobre o estoque de 6,86 milhões de exames RT-PCR para covid-19 que perdem a validade em dezembro deste ano e janeiro de 2021. Revelado pelo Estadão, o número é superior aos 5 milhões de testes deste tipo já feitos no SUS.
Pazuello foi questionado por jornalistas sobre os testes, entre outros assuntos, na saída de um evento no Conselho Nacional de Justiça (CNJ), mas deixou o local sem falar com a imprensa. O presidente do órgão, ministro Luiz Fux, e Pazuello assinaram mais cedo a renovação de acordos para fortalecer estudos técnicos em discussões da Justiça sobre acesso à saúde.
No domingo, o Estadãorevelou que 7,1 milhões de exames estão em um armazém do ministério, ou seja, não foram enviados ao SUS em plena pandemia. Do total estocado, 96% (cerca de 6,86 milhões de unidades) estão próximos de perder a validade.
Pazuello ainda não se pronunciou sobre o caso. Em nota, o ministério afirma que os exames são entregues conforme demandas de Estados e municípios. A pasta também afirma que já pediu estudos de estabilidade ao fabricante do teste para, na sequência, solicitar à Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária (Anvisa) a prorrogação da validade do produto. O RT-PCR é um dos exames mais eficazes para diagnosticar a covid-19, além de ser importante ferramenta de controle da pandemia.
Ao ser cobrado ontem sobre os testes que podem parar no lixo, o presidente Jair Bolsonaro afirmou que são governadores e prefeitos, e não o governo federal, quem deve explicações. “Todo o material foi enviado para Estados e municípios. Se algum Estado/município não utilizou, deve apresentar seus motivos (sic.)”, disse Bolsonaro a um apoiador que o questionou se a informação procedia. Não é verdade que todo o material foi encaminhado. Como mostrou o Estadão, os testes estão num depósito do governo em Guarulhos e não foram repassados para a rede pública. Os dados sobre o prazo de validade dos testes em estoque estão registrados em documentos internos do próprio Ministério da Saúde.
