Faltando mais de um ano para eleições de Outubro de 2024, os nomes que estarão à disposição do eleitorado começam a ser definidos em Petrolina. Na tarde desta sexta, 11,o empresário da construção civi, Luiz dos Santos, o Lulão, decidiu lançar seu nome como pré-candidato a prefeito de Petrolina.
Ainda por definir por qual sigla vai fazer sua pré- campanha, Lulão, diz não aguentar mais o que vem acontecendo na cidade, e que ela poderia estar bem melhor avaliada, principalmente no quesito de resíduos sólidos e saneamento básico..
“Quando ando na periferia e vejo minha cidade ainda com esgoto a céu aberto , me parte o coração. Petrolina é rica, e esse aspecto de sujeira somente na periferia, nos dá um nó na garganta. O centro da cidade é lindo. Porém, aqueles que mais necessitam e, que de fato,são a mola mestre dessa cidade, estão sendo esquecidos pelas autoridades que podem mudar esse cenário”, disse o pré-candidato.
Essa será a primeira vez que Lulão disputará a prefeitura. Resta saber se essa candidatura vai vingar, até por quê, como sempre foi de bastidores e financiador de vários políticos, Lulão , pode crescer e se tornar um nome a se pensar.
“A terra em Petrolina está fértil e há possibilidade de eleger um novo prefeito. Sabemos que o caminho é longo, existem dificuldades, porém, antevejo que tudo pode dar certo, se fizermos um bom palanque. Não estamos aqui para culpabilizar ou fulanizar ninguém, pelo insucesso ou sucesso da cidade. Somos o povo que ama Petrolina. Compromisso é comigo mesmo. Estamos com a expectativa bastante positiva”, afirmou.
