Uma delação premiada no caso que investiga a Fifa na Justiça norte-americana respingou na rede Globo, um dos maiores grupos de comunicação da América Latina. O empresário argentino Alejandro Burzaco, ex-diretor da empresa de eventos esportivos Torneos y Competencias, afirmou na terça feira em depoimento à Justiça dos Estados Unidos que a emissora pagou propinas para conseguir direitos de transmissão de campeonatos de futebol. As autoridades americanas investigam um esquema decorrupção envolvendo a Fifa e outras federações de futebol, apelidado de Fifa Gate.
O dinheiro pago pela Globo teria sido destinado a altos executivos da CBF(Confederação Brasileira de Futebol) e da Confederação Sul-Americana de Futebol, a Conmebol, responsável por campeonatos como a Copa Libertadores da América e a Copa América. A informação foi divulgada em primeira mão pelo site Buzz Feed News. O delator não mencionou quais os valores pagos pela empresa.
Acusada por um dos delatores do escândalo de corrupção da Fifa de pagar US$ 15 milhões em propinas (cerca de R$ 50 milhões) para garantir exclusividade na transmissão das Copas de 2026 e 2030, a Rede Globo deve faturar alto com o futebol em 2018. Muito alto. Cifras que possivelmente atingirão a casa dos bilhões. Segundo informações do diário Meio e Mensagem, a emissora carioca colocou no mercado pacotes comerciais para patrocinadores que podem render cerca de R$ 2,4 bilhões em receita.

São dois diferentes produtos oferecidos: um exclusivo à Copa do Mundo e outro que engloba as demais competições futebolísticas televisionadas pela emissora na próxima temporada — Campeonato Brasileiro, Copa do Brasil, Copa Libertadores da América, Campeonatos Estaduais, Copa Sul-Americana e amistosos da Seleção Brasileira. Ambos têm seis cotas de patrocínio.
As empresas que quiserem relacionar suas marcas com a veiculação da Copa da Rússia deverão desembolsar R$ 180 milhões cada. Já no plano “Futebol 2018”, para os demais torneios, os valores anuais são de R$ 230 milhões. Deste modo, caso todas as cotas sejam comercializadas pelo valor de tabela o grupo de mídia poderá arrecadar mais de R$ 2 bilhões. O montante é muito maior do que os supostos R$ 50 milhões de propina que o delator argentino Alejandro Burzaco indicou que a Rede Globo pagou.

Para o especialista em marketing esportivo Fernando Trevisan, diretor-geral da Trevisan Escola de Negócios, grande parte da receita da TV aberta está relacionada ao futebol e por isso os direitos de transmissão são tão caros.
“Eventos esportivos geram enorme audiência e são extremamente valiosos. Ainda mais se tratando de Copa do Mundo. Por isso, a competição no mercado tem se tornado feroz, o que pode, teoricamente, criar um ambiente favorável ao pagamento de propinas, como relatou o delator no Caso Fifa”, explicou Trevisan. “Enquanto nada for comprovado, o Mundial da Rússia continuará sendo um ativo valioso e empresa alguma deixaria de associar sua marca a um evento com este potencial. Pudemos acompanhar isso com a própria CBF.”
De acordo com o delator Alejandro Burzaco, ex-diretor da empresa de marketing Torneos y Competencias, o dinheiro da Globo teria sido enviado por meio do ex-diretor Marcelo Campos Pinto para a T&T, braço na Holanda da empresa de Burzaco em associação com a brasileira Traffic, de J. Hawilla, e posteriormente repassado para uma conta na Suíça de Julio Gronoda, ex-presidente da Associação de Futebol Argentino e ex-vice-presidente da Fifa responsável por cuidar dos direitos de transmissão para a América Latina. O dirigente morreu em 2014.
Em documento obtido pelo R7, Burzaco cita a emissora carioca ao menos 14 vezes em seu depoimento à juíza Pamela Chen, que comanda o caso da Fifa no Tribunal do Brooklyn, em Nova York, Estados Unidos.
Por nota, a Rede Globo negou todas as acusações de Burzaco e afirmou que “não é parte nos processos que correm na Justiça americana”. O executivo argentino está em prisão domiciliar desde 2015, pagou multa de US$ 21 milhões (R$ 69,5 milhões) e aguarda a decisão de sua sentença.
Não duvido nem uma virgula do que possa ter sido dito contra esta emissora, sabemos que ela é ultra competidora e não gosta de perder espaços.Faria tudo para estar no monopólio aqui na America latina, já que , nos Brasil o monopólio e total.
