Polícia Federal e PM desarticulam tráfico de drogas em Pernambuco
Segundo a PF, 75 policiais federais e 18 policias militares cumprem 13 mandados de prisão preventiva e 13 mandados de busca e apreensão em Pernambuco
A Polícia Federal deflagrou hoje (21) a Operação Raposa para desarticular um grupo suspeito de traficar drogas nas regiões dos municípios pernambucanos de São Caetano e Caruaru. A operação conta com a ajuda da Polícia Militar do estado.
Segundo a PF, 75 policiais federais e 18 policias militares cumprem 13 mandados de prisão preventiva e 13 mandados de busca e apreensão em Caruaru, São Caetano, Bezerros e Limoeiro, todas em Pernambuco. Os mandados foram expedidos pelo Juízo da Vara Única da Comarca de São Caetano.
Há mandados de prisão preventiva sendo cumpridos também nas penitenciárias Juiz Plácido de Souza, em Caruaru, e Desembargador Ênio Pessoa, em Limoeiro.
Por meio de nota, a PF informou que a investigação, iniciada em julho de 2018, resultou em diversas apreensões de entorpecentes, e na prisão de alguns dos principais integrantes do grupo criminoso, que já foram encaminhados a penitenciárias estaduais de Caruaru e Limoeiro.
“Ainda assim, os criminosos foram flagrados gerenciando o tráfico de drogas de dentro dos estabelecimentos prisionais, por meio de ordens repassadas aos demais membros do grupo por telefones celulares e durante visitas regulares”, diz a nota.
A PF informou que os presos serão levados à Delegacia da Polícia Federal em Caruaru, devendo ser indiciados pelos crimes de tráfico de drogas e associação para o tráfico, crimes cujas penas variam de 5 a 20 anos de reclusão.
Posteriormente, serão levados para fazer exame de corpo de delito no Instituto de Medicina Legal, e encaminhados aos respectivos sistemas prisionais.
