O vice-prefeito de Petrolina, Simão Durando, fez uso da Tribuna Livre durante a Sessão Ordinária da Câmara de Vereadores de Petrolina nesta quinta-feira (28). Desta feita, não como vice-prefeito, mas como secretário de Governo. Ele reassumiu o cargo no início dessa semana, após portaria divulgada no Diário Oficial Eletrônico do município. Em sua primeira fala pública no retorno á pasta, Simão ,ressaltou a importância do fortalecimento entre as esferas de poder do município.
Durante uso da Tribuna Livre da Câmara Municipal, ele ressaltou a satisfação em poder retornar à pasta, que é responsável pela boa relação entre as esferas dos poderes Executivo e Legislativo e demais instituições vinculadas à prefeitura.
No discurso, lembrou do assessor especial Orlando Tolentino que esteve gerindo a pasta desde final de 2020. Lembrou também a missão que lhe foi ordenada na execução do Plano de Governo para Petrolina.
“Quero dizer aqui do meu orgulho de poder estar voltando para a Tribuna da casa do povo, da minha satisfação de retomar essa relação mais próxima com todos os 23 vereadores. Devemos continuar mantendo esse regime democrático entre os poderes Executivo e Legislativo e quem ganha com isso é a população, é toda a cidade”, afirmou Simão Durando.
