O vereador Gabriel Menezes, fez na sessão anterior, um requerimento verbal onde pede as contas de da imprensa de Petrolina. O Edil quer saber quanto foi gasto com televisão, Rádios e Blogs, e quais são os meio de comunicação , nome por nome. Ainda o vereador deseja saber , se há algum blog ou Rádio beneficiado a mais que outros na cidade.
Na sessão desta terça-feira, 31, o requerimento veio na pauta para ser votado, e para surpresa de muitos, o fator transparência, foi colocado para baixo do tapete. O vereador, ficou indignado pela reprovação do requerimento e disse que os assessores do prefeito fizeram manobras para que mais um dos seus pedidos fosse rejeitado.
