O médico especializado em oftalmologia Diego Nery Benevides Gadelha, receberá nesta segunda-feira,24,no Plenário da Câmara Municipal de Petrolina, o Título de Cidadão petrolinense . A homenagem foi uma iniciativa do vereador Ruy Wanderley (PSC). A solenidade está marcada para ser realizada a partir das 19 horas.
Para o vereador proponente da homenagem e honraria, os trabalhos prestados pelo médico à população do estado justificam o projeto de lei que concede o Título de Cidadão petrolinense.
Para o Dr. Diego Nery , uma grande alegria ser, por meio do Poder Legislativo de Petrolina, considerado cidadão petrolinense.
Casado com a petrolinense, Neylane Coelho Gadelha, Diego Nery, é Formado em Medicina pela Universidade Federal da Paraíba, com especialização em oftalmologia pela Fundação Altino Ventura, também cursou a Subespecialidade em Córnea e Cirurgia Refrativa pela mesma Fundação; Recebeu Bolsa de Visita em córnea e cirurgia refrativa pela Escola de Medicina de Harvard. O médico tem Mestrado, Doutorado e Pós-doutorado em Cirurgia pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco, é também Pós-doutorado em Oftalmologia pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais e, ainda fez Mestrado em Empreendedorismo pela Faculdade Babson em Boston, nos Estados Unidos. Hoje, Diego Nery É diretor da Faculdade de Medicina da Unifacisa, do Hospital Help e do Hospital da Visão em Campina Grande.
