Através de um áudio no Whatsapp, o vereador Aero Cruz, disse que “não era preciso” se cadastrar na AFEABACAP. A entidade representa os comerciantes informais de Petrolina. Aero Cruz,disse que a associação estava agindo daquele modo para se beneficiar e “comer” dinheiro.E foi mais além dizendo que os “barracos”da Rua Eraldo Gueiros serão construídos e “Priu”, e que a Associação podia falar com quem quisesse.
Porém, no dia 17 de maio em reunião, a Bacharel da 3ª promotoria de Justiça de Defesa da Cidadania, Rosane Cavalcanti, juntamente com a vereadora Cristina costa e a presidente da AFEABACAP, Elane Gomes, bem como com os ambulantes, decidiram que no dia 17 de julho, haverá uma reunião final para decidir os rumos sobre o empreendimento.Na reunião ficou decidido que os ambulantes precisariam estar cadastrados na AFEABACAP para que o processo fosse levado adiante sem que não houvesse empecilhos para a realização da obra.
Hoje,30/05, na sessão ordinária na Casa Plínio Amorim, o vereador Aero culpou a imprensa de disseminar inverdades. Se não é verdade, basta apenas conferir o áudio. Quem não gostou nem um pouco da atitude do irmão, foi Alvorlande Cruz. O experiente ex-vereador, mandou um aviso dizendo: não se briga com a imprensa, imprensa tem que ser parceira.
Com auditório lotado, a sessão teve muito debate, muita vaia. Elane Gomes, presidente da AFEABACAP, no discurso, falou de perseguição e, de truculencia com os barraqueiros de Petrolina.
