A Igreja Universal do Reino de Deus, liderada pelo pastor Edir Macedo, foi multada por conta do volume alto dos cultos diários no Méier, Zona Norte do Rio. O valor da indenização é de R$ 5 mil.
De acordo com o blog do Ancelmo, do ‘O Globo’, um vizinho ficou incomodado com o barulho dos cultos que aconteciam num galpão localizado nos fundos da sua casa.
Enquanto o processo estava tramitando na Justiça, a igreja deixou o galpão à prova de som.
