Bancada evangélica está rachada!
O papel vergonhoso da maioria dos deputados evangélicos que foram eleitos na eleição de 2022, deixou uma mancha indelével na vida de várias denominações Brasil afora. Defendendo os atos de Bolsonaro, à época, muitos disseram verdadeiras pérolas contra o então candidato, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.
Muitos xingaram, falaram que o País se tornaria um caos com a vitória de Lula. Porém, depois desses 7 meses de mandato, muitos estão mudando seus conceitos em relação ao governo, bem como, em relação ao que Bolsonaro disse. Porém, com as atitudes do ex-presidente e descobertas nada agradáveis de sua conduta que não batem com que o foi dito, muitos estão decepcionados.
E agora, a bancada evangélica está sob nova direção e com o mesmo antigo dilema: brigas internas. O fato novo é que o deputado Silas Câmara (Republicanos-AM), assumirá a presidência da bancada na volta do recesso parlamentar. A troca de guarda com o atual líder, Eli Borges (PL-TO), tem despertado na coxia, o receio de que a futura gestão será cordial demais com o governo Lula (PT) para ofuscar o brio bolsonarista de alguns membros da frente. E vem aí um racha interno?
O racha interno emergiu após um assessor do bloco enviar mensagem a jornalistas dizendo que os parlamentares evangélicos oficializaram um acordo para Borges e Câmara se revezarem no comando até o fim de 2024, alternando seis meses de mandato para cada um.
“No entanto, a bancada não se sente confortável com a nova presidência e [nem] como o deputado Silas, que para muitos, está acenando ao governo”.
Os dois deputados travaram em fevereiro uma disputa acalorada pelo posto, com acusações de fraude e ameaças de judicialização. Conseguiram pacificar o pleito após selar o arranjo de que Borges presidiria a bancada no primeiro semestre de 2023, e Câmara no segundo, repetindo o acerto no ano seguinte.
Borges é do partido de Jair Bolsonaro, a quem o grupo religioso se alinhou em peso na eleição. A expectativa é a de que a nova liderança diminua as fricções com a administração petista, à óbvia exceção da agenda de costumes.
Silas Câmara é taxado por seus colegas como raposa velha no Congresso, mais afeito ao modo centrão de atuar. Ou seja, disposto a adotar postura conciliatória com o governo que for. Ele pertence à família Câmara, farol evangélico no Norte do país. Seu irmão Samuel é pastor da primeira Assembleia de Deus brasileira, chamada de Igreja Mãe.
Outro ex-presidente do grupo e aliado de Câmara, Cezinha de Madureira (PSD-SP) engrossa a ala dos que não veem sentido em bater de frente com o Planalto só para marcar território como oposição.
Ele lembra de uma passagem do livro bíblico de Romanos, sobre toda autoridade ser constituída por Deus, muito evocada no segmento para defender uma relação afável com governantes. “Deputado que estiver preocupado com uma aproximação seja com qual for o governo”, diz, faz “oposição desinteligente”.
