O circuito artístico e cultural de Juazeiro vai ter uma atração a mais a partir da próxima quinta-feira (2). Começa às 19h na praça de alimentação de Shopping de Juazeiro.É o projeto ‘Quintas Musicais – Encontros com a MPB’. E para abrir a sequência de shows gratuitos sobe ao palco o cantor e compositor juazeirenses, Maurício Dias (Mauriçola).
O músico já se apresentou em festivais, casas noturnas e no lendário Teatro Vila Velha, em Salvador, e é figura reconhecida no cenário artístico baiano. O compositor vai receber como convidado especial o músico Edésio César, um dos melhores guitarristas do Brasil, segundo lugar no concurso nacional da ‘Eagle’, em São Paulo, com quem dividirá a apresentação.
Concebido pelo jornalista, Carlos Laerte, o projeto tem como principal propósito incentivar e divulgar expressões e personalidades da Música Popular Brasileira na região. “Além de ampliar o conhecimento acerca dos trabalhos autorais dos nossos artistas, os shows acústicos e as intervenções poéticas, com instrumentistas fantásticos que temos, vão também apresentar o repertório dos grandes nomes desse gênero musical”, concluiu o idealizador que também é poeta.
