O deputado federal Jair Bolsonaro (PSC-RJ) vai se filiar ao Partido Ecológico da Nação (PEN). De acordo com o a coluna Esplanada, do jornal O Dia, a mudança já foi definida junto ao presidente da legenda, o ex-deputado Adilson Barroso. O anúncio oficial deve ocorrer nas próximas semanas, de acordo com o colunista.
Pré-candidato à eleição presidencial de 2018, Bolsonaro deve levar para a legenda os filhos Carlos, deputado federal, e Flávio, deputado estadual pelo Rio de Janeiro. Os herdeiros devem dirigir a legenda em São Paulo e no Rio.
O presidenciável teria condicionado a entrada no partido a uma mudança de nome da legenda. Bolsonaro sugeriu o nome Pátria Amada Brasil (PAB), que ainda será analisado pela executiva da sigla.
